Marlee Liss: Founder, Author, Speaker, Advocate
Marlee Liss (she/her) is a somatic educator, social worker, and sparkle-loving lesbian Jewish feminist. Her sexual assault case set precedent in the North American justice system after she fought for a Restorative Justice outcome through the courts. Since then, she has founded the Survivors 4 Justice Reform global coalition and supported thousands in learning about trauma-informed pleasure and violence prevention .Marlee's work has been featured in Forbes, Huff Post, Buzzfeed, the Mel Robbins Show and more. As an award-winning speaker, she's delivered talks for: National Sexual Assault Conference, Vanderbilt University, University of Toronto, Action Trauma Summit, Women's Mental Health Conference at Yale and more. Marlee sits on Survivors Council Canada as a Director and Member at Large. Her story is currently being made into a documentary directed by Kelsey Darragh and her book on re-imagining justice will be released with Penguin Random House in Fall 2026. Magda Ayuk is a results-driven marketer who understands spectacle. A Montreal-born creative of Cameroonian descent, she’s a seasoned showgirl and strategist who’s helped brands grow from local to viral by blending bold storytelling with sharp strategy. She’s an advocate for burlesque as a tool for healing, self-expression, and reclaiming visibility—especially for women and marginalized identities—and has led burlesque workshops internationally. From content funnels to creative campaigns, Magda knows how to turn attention into action—with purpose.
Madeleine Mackenzie: Administrative Assistant & Speaking Coordinator
Madeleine Mackenzie is a proud Anishinaabe woman and experienced virtual project manager with a passion for building meaningful connections and supporting community-led change. With over 10 years of freelance experience and more than 14 diplomas and certifications, she brings a unique blend of strategy, creativity, and cultural awareness to every project she takes on. She holds a diploma in Community and Justice Services from Sir Sandford Fleming College and has completed over 14 additional certificates in Indigenous studies, people and culture, restorative practices, and communication.
Known for her calm presence and collaborative approach, Madeleine thrives in roles that bring people together and make space for diverse voices. Whether she's managing logistics behind the scenes or contributing to big-picture planning, her work is always grounded in values of equity, inclusion, and care. She’s especially passionate about creating culturally safe spaces, supporting Indigenous youth, and working alongside teams that are committed to making a difference. Her experience includes mentoring Indigenous youth, facilitating culturally relevant workshops, supporting restorative justice circles, and contributing to policy development through her role on her home reserve’s Constitution and Legal Committee.
